My life changed forever on April 12, 2019, when Hunter Biden stumbled into my shop requesting data recovery from one of his liquid-damaged laptops. After his father announced his candidacy for president of the United States, and Hunter failed to pay for and collect his computer, fear for my safety grew. There was paperwork in Hunter’s possession giving me permission to examine and copy his data – someone was going to come looking for the laptop, and come looking for me. Concerned that I was sitting on evidence in a criminal investigation, I set out to hand everything over to the FBI. But, feeling betrayed by the FBI’s inaction in providing the laptop as evidence during the impeachment trial, I then turned to Congress, and ultimately, to a lawyer for the president, Rudy Giuliani. When the story broke, Big Tech and social and mainstream media blocked the reporting. I was instantly labelled as a hacker and a criminal. My actions were labelled Russian disinformation, and it didn’t take long before people started attacking my business and my character, forcing me to close my shop and flee the state.

April 12, 2019 – Hunter Biden Leaves three damages Apple Laptops at The Mac Shop owned and operated by computer repair technician John Paul MacIsaac.

October 2019 – John Paul MacIsaac files a defamation lawsuit against Hunter Biden.

December 2019 – F.B.I. seized Hunter Biden’s laptop.

October 14, 2020 – The New York Post first reports on Hunter Biden’s Laptop.

August 2020 – John Paul MacIsaac gives Robert Costello an Attorney for former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani a copy of Hunter Biden’s hard drive. (Bo Erickson, 2020) (Apelbaum, 2022)

October 2022 – Right-Wing non-profit research group Marco Polo releases a 634 page report entitled Report on The Biden Laptop.

March 2023 – Hunter Biden files counterclaims against 14 people including computer repairman John Paul MacIsaac, Rudy Giuliani, Steve Bannon, Guo Wengui and others. 


People Involved

1.      Hunter Biden – The laptop belonged to him.

2.      John Paul MacIsaac – The computer repairman who obtained and shared the data from the laptop.

3.      Rudy Giuliani – Former Mayor of New York city who obtained the data through his lawyer.

a.      Side note is that Rudy was a lawyer for former President Donald Trump.

4.      Abbe Lowell – Hunter Biden’s lawyer.

5.      Steve Bannon – Is said to have had access to the data before it became publicly known. Was involved in dissemination of laptop data. (contributors, 2023) (Stanton, 2023) (Fitzpatrick, 2023)

6.      Guo Wengui – An associate of Steve Bannon who was involved in dissemination of the laptop data.

People Being Sued by Hunter Biden over the Laptop Data

According to NBC News Hunter Biden’s Attorneys sent letters to 14 people “asking them to preserve potential evidence for future lawsuits related to” what they claim is “theft of personal data.” (Fitzpatrick, 2023)
