Stew Peters

Stewart "Stew" Peters is an American right-wing online personality, former bounty hunter, and former rapper.[1][2] He is host of his online show Stew Peters Show, which discusses health concerns surrounding COVID-19 vaccinations.[1]

Associates

His guests have included online personalities such as Paul Gosar[6], Mark Meadows, and L. Lin Wood.[1] On Stew Peter's website he hosts Crosstalk News, The Richard Leonard Show, Shots Fired with DeAnna Lorraine, and Maria Zeee Uncensored.

He gave his endorsement for Kandiss Taylor (R) in the 2022 Georgia gubernatorial election. She lost the election. He has supported Janice McGeachin and Wendy rogers.Mike Lindell of My Pillow is a show sponsor.[1]

Personal Life

Stew is from Minnesota and Wisconsin. 1st Avenue suggests that his parents were divorced while he was growing up.[7] He has two sons and a daughter [10] He met his wife a decade ago, when she was celebrating her 21st birthday. [11] Peters initially thought he’d become a police officer — or an entertainer. During high school, he started taking classes toward a law enforcement degree while interning at KDWB Radio.[11]

Fokiss

After high school, Peters moved from Minnesota to Los Angeles, Florida and New York while pursuing a career as a rapper named Fokiss.[1][2] I'm assuming Fokiss is pronounced just like the word "Focus". As a rapper, he performed at several night clubs and bars around Minneapolis and Duluth including 7th St. Entry at the landmark 1st Avenue.[7] You can read more about 1st Avenue at https://first-avenue.com/about/. On June 17, 2012, Fokiss released an official video on Joungkong (JK) Yang's YouTube channel with the song I Never Made It. Stew is seen in the video singing with an asian woman. I Never Made It was produced by JK Yang of Rocket Designs. [2][3]

Fokiss "...has based his worldview around embracing his “inner weirdo.”"And says:

"A weirdo is 100% you, [sic] Anybody in the public light that tries to get ahead always feels like they have to do what the guy in front of them did. Everyone says, 'I should do it like Biggie did it.' Biggie was great, but I should do it like Fokiss does it. And if that takes me to superstardom, then I did it the best."[7]

1st Avenue says that Fokiss was influenced by rap artists Biggie, Redman and Outkast, as well as hip-hop music.Stew would journal. He traveled to Los Angeles, but couldn't make it there and returned to Minneapolis. There he recorded Fokiss on Music with producer Shaka Adres.[7] I searched for "Fokiss on Music" and found this YouTube Video that is said to have been leaked called Long Road that verifies the connection to Shaka in the discography at the beginning. Warning this is an Explicit version there is foul language and perverse content.[5] This is a darker side of Stew we aren't used to seeing on the Stew Peters Show.

Fokiss performed September 14th 2012 at the 7th St Entry for Nate Giller Productions presents RAWKZILLA SEMI FINALS with Street Capital, Vaudeville, Fokiss and more! And, June 4, 2012, for RAWKZILLA'S 2012 BATTLE OF THE BANDS with Ampherium, HypNoXIOUs, WORTH THE RISK and more!

I stumbled upon his YouTube page fokissmusicgroup at https://www.youtube.com/@fokissmusicgroup/featured

I found the song he mentioned by 1st Avenue entitled Writin' My Wrongs. In this video you will see Stew Peters is flashing the "OK" or "666" symbol.

Minnesota Governor Residence Scandal and Other Shenanigans

Tyrel (Left) and Jesse Ventura in 2001.
In the summer of 2000 Stew Peters, aged 22 years at the time, conned Tyrel Ventura into believing he was Coleman Huges, brother of Jonathan Taylor Thomas (Home Improvement - A popular show in the 90s)! Tyrel was working on a short film at that time and trying to advance his cinematography career. So when Peter came posing as Huges, Tyrel didn't stand a chance he was hoodwinked and hopeful for the fabled Hollywood connections their friendship might bring. Peter was hopeful too, he wanted to be cast in Tyrel's film. The con worked so well that Stew ended up living the life of luxury at the Governor's Mansion anywhere from 1-1/2 weeks to a month! Tyrel Ventura is the son of former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura who was in office at the time of the incident.[1][8][9]

Of the success of the con at that time Stew had this to say:

"It was a wonderful experience. [sic] If you sneak your way in there, I would recommend it. They had great food. It happened. I would do it again" [Emphasis mine]

But, there does appear to be a change of heart from this statement while in his 30s as a Bounty Hunter he said to the Star Tribune:

"It was a mistake because I lied and that’s not the person I am,[sic] but it was a great experience — it was a lot of fun."

The following is what John Wodele, spokesperson for the Ventrua family, had to say about Peter's time at the Governor's Mansion:

"He stayed in the guest room. The chefs prepared food for him. The housekeepers did his laundry, [sic] If he needed a ride someplace, one of us did that for him."

At some point Tyrel became wise to Peters antics and had background checks ran on him and uncovered the fraud and Stew was kicked out of the Governor's Mansion at that time.[1][8][9]

Other Shenanigans

Some of Stew Peter's Other Conman and Criminal activity was exposed during the scandal at the governor's mansion.

Hockey Player Contract - "Peters' name came up in connection with another scam. WCCO-TV and KMSP-TV reported he had signed a big free agent deal as a National Hockey League player two years ago. Peters says someone pretending to be a hockey official tricked him. He went so far as to fax a copy of his "contract" to the Star Tribune, KMSP and WCCO." [8] This is in contrast to what was reported in the Star Tribune that "On a dare from a friend, he convinced WCCO-TV and KMSP-TV to pick up his “story” of being signed by the NHL as a free agent." [11]

Theft and Drunken Driving
- "Peters said he was arrested at 17 for stealing electronics equipment from a store and was arrested at 19 for driving under the influence of alcohol."[8]

Past Warrants for Arrest
- "Peters has several active warrants for his arrest in connection with small offenses, but doesn't pose any violent public threat, said Apple Valley Sgt. Michael Marben." [8]

Domestic Disturbance / Drunk and Disorderly
- In February 2021, Peters was arrested after his wife called the police, saying that he had come home drunk and started throwing things around the house. Peters later pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to probation.[1][10]

Stew the Bounty hunter

Peters’ rise reflects the tumultuous environment of digital right-wing media, where a previously little-known bounty hunter can emerge out of practically nowhere to become a power player.

- A quote from the Daily Beast article [10]

Stew Peters pictured in TCAT Bounty hunter Swat Gear

"Just shy of 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, Peters, 38, doesn’t appear as intimidating as his profession’s rough-and-tumble reputation. Often dressed in sneakers and jeans, he looks like a coach — with lots of tattoos" [10]

Stew Peters and his partner Richard Leonard both worked for the Twin Cities Apprehension Team TCAT which is a bounty hunter organization. They make citizens arrests on fugitives of the law. They were big into the Back the Blue movement. TCAT is located at 310 4th Ave S, Ste 5010, Minneapolis, MN, United States, 55415 according to their publicly posted Facebook page. This happens to coincide with a US Post Office which is Federal property.

What else is interesting to me is its proximity to the US Justice Department

"Peters employs about half a dozen agents, most of whom have been with him for years and have backgrounds ranging from military to security to martial arts. The team works several hundred cases annually, mostly in the metro area, but sometimes around the country. Its apprehension rate is nearly 100 percent."[11] At one time they had a YouTube channel boasting about 3,000 followers which has been taken down or made private.

It was actually because of Stew being mistaken for an actual law enforcement officer that the State of Minnesota had to change the laws on what kinds of Vehicles and Uniforms Bounty Hunters in the state are allowed to use.[12]

Here Stew is looking just like a Law Enforcement Officer
It is this look that cause the State of Minnesota to change the laws.[12]

Stew's Bail Bonds

Stew Peters  owns a Stew's Bail Bonds a company located in Red Wing, MN. It boasts itself as being the fastest bail bonds in the State of Minnesota. The business is located at: 503 Bush Street, Ste 100 Red Wing but on the map it just looks like a refrigeration shop. But there are offices on the one side of the building. Its peculiar.

Fugitive Recovery Network

"FRN was established in 2001, it is the Original website to specialize in serving the needs of professionals in the Bail Bond Industry. Currently, it is still the only national industry website that permits professional industry members to collaborate with each online. Further, the discussion forums, wanted section and agency directory provides for fast, efficient, and simple exchange of information."

Owner:STEW PETERS?But wait.
On the Forum it says the owner is a man by the name of  PHiLL CRoSS spelt just like that .[13]the location is listed as Orange County, CA, USA. "As most of you know, I started this website in 2001, because there wasn't anything available like it for the bail industry to network and communicate. The FRN website has grown, thanks mostly to the contributions of the members, to become one of the most respected & well known websites on the industry." [13] So was Post Bulletin [12] wrong or did it exchange hands or is Stew Peters part owner? Okay I just don't know on that one.
